Psalm 25:1-10 Trust God to Trump Enemies

Ps 25:8-10 Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in the way.He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way. All the paths of the Lord are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.

KEY VERSE: Ps 25:9 He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.
In order to know God’s ways we have to remain humble and teachable. If we are not teachable, God cannot teach us anything. The prerequisite to allowing God to guide us is teachable humility.

When I consciously tune in to God’s ways, listening to His Spirit’s prompting in every situation, His ways become my ways and I will triumph over my enemies, viz., Satan and his hosts. I can only have victory by following God’s ways, not mine own ways: “No one whose hope is in you will ever be put to shame” (v.3). If I humble myself to do things God’s ways, I will experience His presence and power and will not be put to shame.

Everyday, I must practice the presence of God in my life. I must keep myself “online” with God, so that He can show me His ways in every situation I am confronted with daily.

Father, I thank You that there is no better way than Your way. May You continue to lead me by Your Spirit. Help me walk consciously in Your presence and power by walking by Your Spirit. Amen.
